I can’t believe how fast 2018 flew by. It was a rough journey for our family.

We faced many challenges. New diagnosis’s. New problem behaviors. Anxiety issues. The list goes on…

I am going to stay hopeful for 2019. We are going to work even harder. I am going to continue to stay hopeful Kash will talk. I will continue working hard with him.

We will continue working on his problem behaviors. We will continue working on ways to help his anxiety.

My son Kash is a sweet, caring, funny three year old boy. He is on the severe end of the spectrum. He is nonverbal.

He does communicate some through American Sign Language.

He loves to dance!

His new favorite thing to do is listen to Frozen, “Let it go,” song. He loves watching it in different languages!

He amazes me how quickly he can remember things! I know this year is going to be a great one for Kash!

My biggest goal for 2019 is getting him through haircuts without a huge meltdown.

I am going to continue having him interact with peers more often. Getting him more involved in playing with toys correctly.

My goal for me is to be more positive.

I admit I am that mom who thinks the worst. I need to realize I can’t always control how things turn out.

All I can do is continue being the best mother I can be to Kash. The best advocate. I can’t predict the future for him.

I need to focus on all the accomplishments he has made. I am going to continue growing thick skin.

People are always going to judge. No matter what.

I am going to ignore those people who always have their two sense to put in. When really they have no clue what’s going on. They have never walked a day in my shoes. I am no longer going to waste my energy on entertaining their comments.

2019 is going to be a great year for Kash and my family.

I just know it will be a great year! I am so proud of him. He amazes me everyday.

Always remember to cherish every milestone they make.
