Christmas Cards with a Side of Faith

I am so excited to share our 2018 Christmas card with you. Christmas cards are one of my favorite holiday traditions, and I love documenting the end of our year with a new card.

Every year I include a quote about autism and hope on our card. I think people get the subtle reference and hopefully smile.

My favorite: ‘Anything can happen child. Anything can be. Never stop believing.’

I also love receiving cards from our friends and family. I typically hang them all over my kitchen and leave them up way longer then I probably should. But not his year. Super Cooper loves them too much. He carries them around. Brings them to school. Lines them up. Studies them. Shows them to me. And even sleeps with him.

This is what Christmas is all about.

Also, many of the cards come from families I have never even met in real life. They are moms and dads that have reached out to me along this autism journey and we’ve developed a bond.

We celebrate the same highs and grieve the same lows. Many of them are my go-to emotional warriors. Seeing their faces reminds me of how incredibly fortunate I am to know so many amazing people.

To the comment above…… i hope you have a wonderful Christmas. A Christmas that you surely do not deserve.

To this sweet mother of these precious babies- he is BEAUTIFUL! They all are. And these smiles made my day so much better. Bless you and your journey!!!!

This is so bad it’s comical. As a parent of a child of special needs who also wants to get a photo of her kids- your rude and ignorant comment is so blindly unaware it is pathetic.
Kate love the post. Love you got all 3 of your babies together. merry Christmas ❤️❤️
