more than a teacher.

The More Than a Teacher Initiative, with the help of some incredible partnerships, will be taking applications to provide fully equipped sensory spaces for teachers who are in need for their students.

Special Education teachers choose our kids, the amazing kids who often need 'a little more,' tirelessly, day-after-day. And as parents, we know the work can be hard.

This is why we want to say thank you and remind those teachers that we see the work they are doing and to remind them that “they are more”.

Through a partnership with The Spotlight Project®, an organization that provides employment to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we were able to raise funds to honor and thank three special education teachers and their schools. With the gracious help of Fun and Function, three lucky special education teachers will receive sensory equipment for their school so they can continue to do great work for their students.

Please fill out the form below to nominate a special education teacher today.

Disclaimer: This contest is open to US schools only and will run from May 24 to June 3, 2022. Three winners will be chosen on June 6, 2022.
